Board Governance

Board expertise as both Director and Chair, with strengths in strategic leadership, board culture, collaboration, governance structures and organising for effective interactions with management and customer communities.

Portfolio & Programme Governance

Guiding PMO establishment and maturity growth, enhancing strategic alignment, and fortifying organisational capabilities in executing strategies. Working with senior leaders to establish effective governance structures for portfolios, sub-portfolios and programmes, including governance training.

Transformations and Performance Improvement 

Organisation-wide and service focused transformations, delivered through programmes and/or continuous improvement. Performance reviews, planning, monitoring and capability building . 

Stakeholder Engagement

Identifying, building and maintaining relationships that foster mutually beneficial outcomes. Stakeholder engagment planning, including identifying gaps and reasons for underperforming relationships. Relationship building is one of my key strengths and one I enjoy very much. 

Strategy Development

Development and refresh of strategic plans and implementation planning. Application of approaches that best fit the need, including expertise in a number of established frameworks.  

Portfolio & Programme Management

Leadership of PMOs and improving performance. Establishing structures that support customer centric services. Implementation of methods and practices. Capability uplift and career development of portfolio, programme & project professionals.

Trouble shooting & Quality Assurance

Using deep experience and expertise to quickly dig into problems and provide clear impactful quick-wins and longer term strategies for improvement. Apply techniques to bring errant projects back on track. Conduct QA reviews and produce high quality review reports suitable for Boards, C-suite, management and teams.

Business Case Development and Evaluation

Develpment of business cases and supporting others to do so. Application of Treasury's five-case (Better Business Case) model. Informal reviews and formal assessments.
